Very knowledgeable and caring. Will advocate for you and when you call the office he will answer the phone. Most Doctors will not answer any phone calls.

Dr. Bruce Lawrence is a straight-shooting, no-nonsense doctor who’s clearly focused on one thing.. your health. He’s honest, direct, and transparent, and you never feel like there’s any agenda beyond good care.
He’s realistic about the flaws in the U.S. healthcare system and doesn’t pretend otherwise. He takes his time with patients, listens, but also tells you straight, that said he doesn’t rush appointments. In true old-school fashion, he’ll even answer the phone himself.

I waited an hour to be seen and unfortunately did not feel heard or respected during my visit. Rather than being asked thoughtful questions about my health concerns, I was met with monologues on topics entirely unrelated to my care (e.g.., musings on societal definitions of genius, cultural differences about New Yorkers versus Californians, relationships, marathon running experiences). When I did raise concerns, they were met with dismissiveness, irrelevant statistics, and jokes that made it difficult to feel taken seriously. I left the appointment feeling unheard and frustrated. I cannot imagine returning or recommending this experience to others seeking attentive, patient-centered care.
